Description of the activity
Nuit des Capites - Lavaux by Night
Experience the "Nuits des Capites", which will take place on Friday and Saturday evenings in the heart of the vineyards of St-Saphorin, in the Lavaux vineyard, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The meeting point is at the Francey-Vins winery in Chexbres at 7.30pm, and the return journey is around midnight. After a tour of the Francey-Vins estate and a welcome drink, you'll take a short 15-20 minute walk through the terraced vineyards of Lavaux to two capites lit up with garlands and solar lights. In this magical setting, you will taste 5 wines in groups of no more than 12 people, accompanied by delicious local produce to make up a simple, gourmet meal! Each outing lasts around 4h30, with a return to the cellar scheduled for around midnight.
It is possible to arrange a special date other than those listed (outings in the vineyards are possible day or night and every day of the week except Sunday), on request only from Francey Vins.
