Itinerary among vineyards: viticultural techniques

Immerse yourself in Switzerland’s southernmost region with its sweet, vineyard-covered hills and its old towns just waiting to be discovered. Stroll amid rows of vines, renowned for the refined wines they produce. Discover how Mendrisiotto is a land rich with both historical and natural heritage, dating back to Roman times. And all the time, let the magnificent panoramas amaze you.

A looped trail starting in Seseglio, a little hamlet located at the foot of Penz hill. The path leads to the southernmost point of Switzerland: a picturesque border location close to the Laghetto area. The hike thus soon reaches the little village of Pedrinate, whose old centre was already inhabited in antiquity. On the way back, in the direction of the little church of S.Stefano al Colle, an enchanting panorama over the Muggio Valley, the town of Chiasso and the entire region as a whole awaits you.
