A trip to the Grande Dixence dam
This unique, full-day excursion takes you to the heart of the dam where the barrels are stored. You’ll have the opportunity to taste a selection of these wines, aged under special conditions. After the guided tour of the dam, a cable car will whisk you to the crest of the dam where you can enjoy a breathtaking 360° view.

PROGRAM
8:30 am – Welcome coffee at the Espace Provins in Sion
9:00 am – Departure by bus: Sion – Grande Dixence (28km)
10:00 AM – Arrival at Grande Dixence and guided tour of the dam’s interior
11:15 AM – Visit to the “Les Titans” barrel cellars, presented by Luc Sermier or Aurélie Perroud, followed by a tasting of two wines
12:15 PM – Local cuisine lunch at the Hôtel Restaurant du Barrage, paired with “Les Titans” wines, with commentary by Luc Sermier or Aurélie Perroud
2:15 PM – Free time to explore the dam’s rim
3:30 PM – Bus departure
4:30 PM – Last drink at the Wine Bar, Sion
