Cave la Tine et Baratine
The Cave la TINE wine bar is the fruit of several years of reflection by Hervé, with the help of his wife Dorita.
After building his cellar in Conthey nearly 40 years ago (1984-2024), the idea grew and matured, just like his wines…
With the development of Conthey’s commercial zone, the cellar’s privileged location with direct access to the cantonal road, and the superb view of the Ours trail and the Dent de Nendaz, it was hardly conceivable to keep the beautiful carnotzet in its original state.
A few changes later, and the carnotzet has been turned into a wine bar, where the main aim is to chat over a good wine from the cellar in a warm and welcoming setting.
The idea was also to renovate and enhance the building, and the opening up of the façade onto the cantonal road has given the Cave la Tine a very special cachet that only a visit to the premises will be able to describe.
