This walk is done ALONE but it is organized by Domaine Bertholet, a family farm of winemakers for 4 generations.
The experience starts at the cellar of Domaine Bertholet in the center of the village of Villeneuve (Grand-Rue 36) with a visit of the cellar with the winemaker and the tasting of 3 wines (approx. 60 min.)
Then, the walk is done on ITS OWN. We will give you the map of the walk and the equipment for the fondue.
A regular climb will take you through the more or less steep vineyard of Villeneuve. We will show you places where you can stop to prepare yourself and ONLY your fondue (ACCORDING TO the DISCOUNTED RECIPE) accompanied by the white wine "Chasselas" of the Domaine.
Throughout the hike you will enjoy a beautiful view on the lake beyond the vineyard.
When your heart tells you, you'll reach the cellar to return the equipment.
Other remarks: *The start of the experience is either at 10:30 for lunch or at 16:30 for dinner (allow at least 3 hours). *Please bring good walking shoes (and in winter a torch for the return journey in the evening)
