Discovery of the Domaine Bertholet cellar and then a walk in the vineyards of Villeneuve with fondue on the way
This walk is done ALONE but it is organised by the Domaine Bertholet, a family business of winegrowers and winemakers for 4 generations.
The experience starts at the Domaine Bertholet cellar in the centre of Villeneuve village with a visit of the cellar with the winemaker and the tasting of 3 wines (approx. 60 min.)
Afterwards, we will give you the map of the walk and the key to the vineyard.
A regular climb will take you through the more or less steep vineyards of Villeneuve. After a short hour's walk (quite steep and you must know how to read a map ....), you will reach the capite in the vineyards where you can prepare your own fondue (according to the recipe) accompanied by the white wine "Chasselas" of the Domaine.
From this place, you will enjoy, while eating and tasting a good glass of Chasselas, a beautiful view of the lake beyond the vineyard.
When you feel like it, you can reach the start in 3/4 of an hour.
Other remarks:
*The start of the experience is either at 10:30 for lunch or at 16:30 for dinner (allow at least 3 hours).
*Please bring good walking shoes (and in winter a torch for the return journey in the evening)
*Possibility of doing the walk without tasting
*This experience can be organised for more than 6 people on request.
