Description of the activity

Enjoyment, nature, culture and relaxation in the former Carthusian monastery. The Ittingen Charterhouse has a long tradition of winegrowing. Immerse yourself with all your senses and learn interesting facts about wine production from the past and present. Stroll along the Wine Knowledge Trail, visit the «Wine and Prosperity» exhibition at the Ittingen Museum, sample the variety of Ittingen wines and enjoy a 4-course menu in the evening. Included in the package: An overnight stay in one of our unique hotel rooms, a rich breakfast buffet with many fine Ittingen delicacies from our estate, a self-guided wine tasting of five Ittingen wines at the Mühle Restaurant, an apéritif with Blütenzauber and herb almonds, a 4-course dinner, free admission to the Thurgau Art Museum and the Ittingen Museum, a visit to the «Wine and Prosperity» exhibition at the Ittingen Museum, a walk along the Wine Knowledge Trail and the use of the hotel's bicycles.
