Description of the activity
The House of Wine in Berneck is a centre for regional viticulture in the canton of St. Gallen. It offers visitors the opportunity to experience and savour the diversity of St. Gallen wines. The Haus des Weins is known for its cosy atmosphere and beautiful terrace overlooking the vineyards. With the smallest vineyard in the canton, it offers a unique experience of wine culture. The 31 grape varieties, all of which are grown in the canton of St. Gallen, offer a revealing illustration of the vines in all phases of vegetation throughout the year and in autumn a delightful grape tasting event. The House of Wine offers a selection of over 100 different wines and invites you to get to know them.
Available every Saturday from 2.00 to 7.00 pm.
- We offer a guided tour into the world of wine with insightful information about viticulture in the canton of St. Gallen
- A tasting of up to 12 different wines from our tasting machine
- An aperitif platter with cheese or meat or vegetarian of your choice
Important: Participation from the age of 18.
The minimum number of participants is 4. A group of 12 people or more may contact the Haus des Weins directly to make an appointment.
Bookings can be made online up to 3 days before the event.
