Fancy a vacation at the Fasshotel or a wine tasting? At the barrel hotel and winery of the Waldmeier family in Trasadingen you can combine both.
Whether with family, friends or as a larger group: The unique and original overnight accommodation in the 200 year old wine barrels gives the stay at the winery a special charm.
The hosts will not only serve you breakfast in the Besenbeiz, but will also spoil you with regional specialties. For many hikers and cyclists, the Besenbeiz has been a popular rest stop during or after an extensive hike or bike tour for many years.
The family has been running the winery for several generations. On about seven hectares of best location grow different grape varieties, where the grapes ripen to their final destination. Natural cultivation and experience are the starting point for the high-quality end product, which Christian Waldmeier has been pressing in his own cellar since 1991 using ecological methods.
Of course, you are welcome to taste them at the winery. We also produce our own vinegar, grape seed oil and verjuice on our estate.
