The canton of Valais is one of the largest wine regions in Switzerland.
The dry and sunny climate as well as the strong and warm winds favour the ripening of late-ripening grape varieties such as the red wines Cornalin, Humagne Rouge or the white wine Amigne. You can taste these and other grape varieties such as Petite Arvine at the open wine cellars in Valais.
Visit the Valais winegrowers from 14 to 16 May 2026 from 11.00 am to 6.00 pm.
For this 20th edition, over 230 wineries look forward to introducing you to their iconic grape varieties.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of this flagship event in Valais, the PALP Festival is organizing a concert in honor of winegrowers on Saturday, May 16, at Place Maurice Zermatten in Sion.
